Steven’s leadership approach starts with team, where everyone is equal, but have different roles, those in leadership roles are the stewards of the shared vision, values and organizational culture. He is a regular lecturer at the Alberta School of Business and instructor at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in negotiation, mediation and consensus building. Retired as a Staff Sergeant after 20 years of policing, Steven entered politics and served as a Member of the Alberta Legislature and Chief Government Whip. His career across policing, politics, government, cooperatives, and multiple business sectors provides a unique perspective on how to navigate challenges, capture opportunities, and create organizations that deliver long-term value.
